The Distillery Winter Village is a dream come true for those looking to add some holiday magic to their IG grid. In addition to the lights, the decor, and the photo walls aligning the cobblestone streets -- there are so many opportunities to capture memorable moments.
The Distillery Winter Village Attractions
Photo Walls - be sure to stop by our holiday decor and snap that perfect festive photo!
- The 7’ tall snowpeople
- 11’ tall LED stars
- Holly wall
- Santa’s sleigh
- Plus, our iconic LOVE Locks wall and iconic Big Heart lit up for the holiday season
Wave hello to Santa - Santa is also doing things a bit differently this year. Instead of lining up to tell Santa what’s on your wishlist, expect to find him and his team of elves roaming the cobblestone streets. Also strolling the site and bringing holiday cheer -- a superb line-up of buskers and carolers.
Buy your Christmas Tree - Forests Ontario will be selling real, locally-sourced trees ranging from 8-feet tall to “condo-sized”, as well as wreaths this season. Trees and wreaths will only be available for pre-purchase through Forests Ontario’s online shop from November 10th until supplies last, with a contactless drive-through pickup taking place on November 27th behind Balzac’s Coffee Roasters.
The Salvation Army in Ontario is kicking off their iconic Christmas kettle campaign by setting up the world's largest Salvation Army Christmas kettle on Gristmill Lane, standing 35’ tall. Their brass bands, choirs and other entertainers will be performing regularly over the course of the six-week event.
At SickKids, there is no naughty or nice — there is only the brave. This year, SickKids introduces “The Brave List,” a campaign dedicated to their courageous patients. The Brave List will be projected onto the large chimney located in the centre of the Distillery District this holiday season and features the many names of children, past and present, who have spent time at SickKids. Event visitors can show their support by purchasing a gift from GetBetterGifts.ca
Through a partnership with Interac, the payment provider of choice for the small businesses and vendors on-site, shoppers are being offered a complimentary gift wrapping service from December 1 - 23, with donations benefiting SickKids and the Salvation Army. The wrapping station will be available at the ground level of Artscape at 15 Case Goods Lane, across from the Holly wall.
