Illuminarium at The Distillery District presents Winter Wonderland Spectacular!
Celebrate togetherness with festive nostalgia and fantasy, and experience the magic of the holiday season. Illuminarium at The Distillery District combines state-of-the-art technology and interactive elements with time-honoured festive artistry to create a uniquely immersive holiday experience.
Visitors will be transported into Christmas magic, discovering an ever-changing winter dreamland to a futuristic fantasyland of nutcrackers, swinging jingle bells, candy cane carousels and more.
From Santa's luxurious winter palace to whirling snowstorms and glowing Northern Lights, Winter Wonderland Spectacular is a place of beauty, magic and wonder, inspiring us to feel the joy of the season.

The Distillery Winter Village Shopping Week - January 1 - 7, 2024

Santa and his elves had to return to the North Pole, but we’re continuing the festive fun into the New Year with The Distillery Winter Village Shopping Week.
This is your last chance to take in the 56-foot-tall, Dior-designed Christmas Tree, and walk the beautifully decorated cobblestone streets under the canopy lights.
Be sure to check out our extended Boxing Week sales at our 85+ year-round retailers, while also shopping the seasonal vendor cabins, open at noon daily.
Come hungry, because we’re still serving up your favourite Distillery Winter Village food – from our 16 permanent restaurants, six cafés and specialty shops; seasonal food cabins; and, 11 outdoor bar experiences.
Whether you’re looking for an outing to keep the kids busy before they head back to school, or want to check out our many art galleries and catch a live show at one of our theatres, we’ve got you covered.

Family Festival at Soulpepper Theatre
Running from December 12 to 31, Family Festival programming will include the return of Bad Hats Theatre’s multiple Dora Award-winning, smash hit family musical Alice in Wonderland. And once the kids are tucked in for the night, adults can toast to the world premiere of On A Night Like This, a new concert experience created by Beau Dixon featuring a merry mashup of classic carols and pop hits.
Soulpepper will also be the perfect place to warm up and recharge during The Distillery Winter Village. The atrium will be decked out in holiday décor with a cozy fireside vibe, perfect for you to settle in with a cup of our famous hot chocolate (or a Bailey's Irish Coffee special for adults!) and hearty samosa chaat from the Stage Door Café. There will also be free activities for kids to enjoy, your favourite holiday movies playing all day, and much more!
